Ticket #791 (closed enhancement: fixed)
Replace warnings in oracle.py by warnings.warn()
|Reported by:||Nikolay Zakharov <nikolay@…>||Owned by:||andrew|
Currently, there are two print calls in south.db.oracle. They tell us that oracle support is still alpha.
In some situations it is inconvenient because the only way to suppress such warning is to pipe stderr to /dev/null or something like that. But I may want to suppress only that warning, not all stderr. Good example is management commands in the crontab: in my service cron will send output by email and I actually *want* to receive such messages with errors, but what I got is one message per management command execution with annoying warning.
Changeset that replaces print by warnings.warn(): https://bitbucket.org/freevoid/south/changeset/65c3a52bce27. It will come in pull request along with fix for #790.
